The Imatek fixed patch panel system is the basic form supplied with the panels unloaded ready for you to install the adapter of your choice. The panel can also be pre-loaded complete with the required adapter and simple splice management kit, or pre-loaded with pigtails to meet your project needs.

The MTRJ connector and adapter use a different alignment mechanism to the traditional ceramic ferule connectors. The alignment is performed through guide pins which are attached to the optical fiber connector. The MTRJ adapter is used to hold the guide pins in place and offer coarse alignment. The adapter offers a secure connection to hold the connectors in place to prevent accidental disconnection.

The FC connector is used extensively in the telecommunications market, where long singlemode optical fiber cables can run upwards of 50km. In these extreme situations the connector needs to have extremely low loss and accurate geometry.

The Imatek the MT-RJ, is capable of terminating any 125mm fiber. The flexibility of the connector allows it to be used in short run local area networks as well as longer haul cabling using single mode fiber. The MT-RJ connector is a development of the now legendary MT ferrule. This amazing technology is at the heart of many state of the art connectors. The MT ferrule in its various designs has the ability to connect anything from two fibers in the MT-RJ or up to 72 fibers in the latest versions of the MPO connector. Designed to terminate two fibers within a single connector, reducing the risk of operator error when interconnecting equipment and distribution panels. The MT-RJ has been deliberately designed to look and feel like the industry standard copper connector. The high density MT-RJ connector allows the termination of high fiber count backbone cables to be terminated in smaller distribution panels.
